an original fantasy knight's full harness of articulated plate armour in bright polished steel with brass edging, worn over a quilted dark red arming doublet whose collar and sleeve edges show at the neck and joints: a steel gorget around the neck, a rounded breastplate with a central ridge, layered pauldrons over the shoulders, couters with fan-shaped side wings at the elbows, vambraces ending at the wrist with no gauntlets, a skirt of overlapping horizontal lames below the waist with two tassets over the upper thighs, cuisses, knee poleyns, greaves and pointed sabatons; every plate a separate rigid piece, joined by visible rivets and leather straps, no fabric folds in the metal; plain surfaces with no crest or emblem
